Growing up on a farm in Northern Iowa, I learned the values of hard work, responsibility, and family. As the eldest of eight siblings, I also developed leadership and teamwork skills that have served me well throughout my life. After graduating from college, I relocated to Illinois and started my own family. I am the proud mother of three amazing sons, who have all pursued the highest rank in Scouting. Two of them have reached the highest honor of Eagle Scout, and one is on his way to join them. I am passionate about supporting their endeavors and helping them grow into confident and compassionate young men.

In addition to being a devoted mother, I am also a certified CPR instructor and the founder of Premium CPR Training. I started this business in 2023, to teach others the proper skills and help them gain the confidence through doing the skills hands on in class.  My mission is to teach people of all ages and backgrounds how to perform CPR and save lives in emergency situations. I offer flexible and affordable courses, both online and in-person, that are tailored to the needs of each client. Whether you are a school, a workplace, a community group, or an individual, I can help you learn the vital skills of CPR and make a difference in someone’s life.

My passion for CPR stems from a personal experience. One of my siblings required the use of CPR and luckily their spouse was able to provide this life saving skill. The thought of my sibling not coming home to their family really stirred something within me. I have taken a lot of CPR classes throughout my career but wasn’t current on my certification and recertification was not on my “to do” list. So, I set out and found a CPR class and got certified again. Now that I had checked that off my list, I still didn’t feel like the task was done. After much more thought and deliberation, I thought what if I am meant to be a vessel to teach others. During my professional career I have been a successful trainer to people of all ages, and I love teaching others.
